Class Styles

What is the difference between YOGA and YIN, between PILATES and BARRE? 
This is one of the most common questions we get at LLW, so to help you decide on the most suitable class for you we have put everything here at your fingertips to help you have the most rewarding and pleasurable experience possible.

YOGA

Yoga is a holistic approach to bonding the body, mind and spirit suitable for all to enjoy. Practicing Yoga will assist you to create a harmonious balance within your system.

 

At Live Life Well Studio we train our instructors in - ‘Vinyasa’ Yoga- whilst incorporating our own unique blend and variations designed to suit all needs with focus on postures, alignment, breathing techniques and flow of movement.


​Our highly trained instructors will guide you through your yoga class with modifications and adaptations, helping you to develop fitness, flexibility, balance, and a mind and body connection. Available to all levels.

- If it is your first ever yoga class or you don't have a strong regular practice please attend a yoga beginners or 's
low flow' class 

PILATES

Pilates is a movement therapy used to improve physical strength, develop flexibility, improve posture and enhance mental awareness.

 

At LLW we teach a contemporary style of Pilates all about control of the body, developing core strength and assisting with injuries & postural imbalances. Our pilates teachers are highly trained offering a unique blend of body and the breath work encouraging fitness and flexibility. You will definitely see and feel the results in as little as 2 weeks.

- If it is your first ever pilates class or you have any injuries please begin with a 'Pilates' class before jumping to a 'Pilates Burn' class.

PILATES BARRE

Pilates Barre is a high intensity, low impact class. It incorporates traditional dance movement with pilates using weights, therabands, chi balls, ring and a ballet barre. Pilates Barre uses interval training to help you get fast and effective results in losing weight, building strength and gaining muscle definition.


An energetic class be prepared for the ultimate workout to our fun playlists...bring a towel and drink bottle its going to get sweaty.

​- Barre is one size fits all. Come along and take it at your own pace. 

YIN YOGA

This yoga class is designed as a complimentary practice to our Yang practices of Vinyasa and Pilates. Yin works the connective tissues and get deep into the joints.

 

If you are looking to increasing flexibility in your fascia and joints this is the class for you. 


In this class expect to hug a bolster, and experience a mixture of bliss and pain as you hold poses anywhere from 3-7 minutes. A perfect gateway to meditation you will walk out a brand new person on a yoga cloud... A perfect way to end or start your week.

- Yin is suitable for all levels from beginners to advanced.
